Deanna earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2017, a Master of Science degree in Physics from Dalhousie University in 2019, and a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2022. She was called to the bar in June 2023. Deanna decided to change her career path from climate research to law in order to interact with more people on a day-to-day basis and help regular people resolve interpersonal disputes.

Deanna’s  interests lie in the areas of estate litigation, administrative law, employment law, and elder law. However, she is open to working in all areas of litigation and has experience with many types of legal disputes.

Deanna has experience with cases at the Provincial Court of Prince Edward Island, the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island, the Prince Edward Island Court of Appeal, and various administrative bodies.
